The New York Giants decided they couldn't wait for backup quarterback Jim Sorgi's injured right shoulder to get better. Sorgi, veteran wide receiver Sinorice Moss and rookie linebacker Adrian Tracy were placed on injured reserve Tuesday as the Giants reached the 75-man roster limit.

Ever since Plaxico Burress shot himself and was released by the Giants it seems like the Giants have come close but never quite got over the hump to replacing him by way of trade, even though they tried with teams like Cleveland and Arizona.
