Haynos, a third-year pro, was battling for a spot on the roster behind Anthony Fasano and David Martin. He was hurt during Friday's game against Atlanta and was waived Monday.

Returning a kickoff for a touchdown is a very rare thing in the NFL. While I don’t have an assistant to compile stats for me, like some big name writers, I can hazard a guess that it only happens about once every hundred or so kickoffs.

Here are some random observations from Sunday afternoon's debacle, which saw the Miami Dolphins relinquish a 24-3 lead, ultimately losing 46-34 to the unbeaten New Orleans Saints.
