Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin's contract dispute is getting a bit messy. And fans on the Cardinals' official team forum are talking almost exclusively about the drama in the desert that is unfolding as the team looks to get back to the playoffs and win a game after more than a decade of futility.
A poll on the forum asks the question: "Will you boo Boldin at the first home ...

Former NFL lineman Luis Sharpe has been sentenced to six years in prison and four years’ probation for drug offenses.
Commentary: Sharpe, 47, played for both the St. Louis and Arizona Cardinals from 1982-94. He was named to the Pro Bowl three times. Unfortunately, it was when he was a 21-year-old rookie that he first used cocaine, a drug that continues to be Sharpe's enemy today.

"Show me the money!"
It was a phrase made popular by fictional Arizona Cardinals receiver Rod Tidwell in the movie, "Jerry Maguire."

Now people actually want to stay, and the Cardinals are willing to pay to keep them.
Offensive coordinator Todd Haley turned down a chance to interview with the Miami Dolphins this week because he preferred to sign a contract extension with the Cardinals.

Kurt Warner thinks he can be the Arizona Cardinals' quarterback next season, and, based on what happened this year, he probably has a key supporter in rookie coach Ken Whisenhunt. But Whisenhunt needs to swallow hard and give the job back to Matt Leinart next year.
Warner, 36, has had one of the best storybook careers in NFL history, rising from grocery stocker to NFL MVP almost overnight. But ...

It's hard to know what to feel about the latest development in the Arizona Cardinals' quarterback soap opera.
On one hand (let's call it the left), you have to feel bad for Matt Leinart, whose promising second season has been ended prematurely thanks to a broken collarbone. On the other hand (call it the right), you have to feel good for Kurt Warner, the 36-year-old former NFL MVP who gets ...

Ken Whisenhunt says Matt Leinart is still Arizona's starting quarterback, but it will be interesting to see for how long after the first-year coach pulled the second-year passer for veteran Kurt Warner against Baltimore on Sunday.
Whisenhunt said Warner knew the Cardinals' no-huddle offense better than Leinart, which seemed obvious considering the 36-year-old former NFL MVP nearly rallied the ...
